Denver Black Guide is a community-maintained directory. Some listings start from public sources like Google Maps, websites, social media, or community nominations. These listings help us discover businesses, but they are not treated as verified until the business owner claims and confirms the information.
Listings marked “Owner verified” have been confirmed by the business owner or an authorized representative. Listings marked “Unclaimed” or “Publicly sourced” may contain information from public sources and may need updates.
If you own a business, you can claim your listing. If you notice outdated or incorrect information, you can suggest an update or report a listing as closed.
What the badges mean
- Owner verified
- The business owner or authorized representative has confirmed the listing.
- Black-owned confirmed by owner
- The business owner has confirmed that the business is Black-owned.
- Unclaimed
- The listing has not yet been verified by the owner.
- Publicly sourced
- Some information came from public sources such as Google Maps, websites, or social profiles.
- Needs update
- The listing was previously verified but needs reconfirmation.
- Possibly closed
- We have received a signal that the business may no longer be operating.
